I Enjoyed Singing
a film by Anne-Noëlle Gaessler, 35' A portrait of the stage actor Claude Duparfait who has worked for many years with the stage director Stéphane Braunschweig.
Oscillating between the bowels of a theater where the actor rehearses alone the text of "Prometheus Bound" by Aeschylus, towers and buildings in Gennevilliers and the greenery of a house in the countryside, this film gives insight into the acting profession as a permanent site where everything is constantly renewing itself. A highlight of this mysterious part in all of us and these desires that inspire us. Claude Duparfait Why did he turned to the theater? How to feed the desire despite the passage of time?
