Solange Fernex died in september 2006. She was one of the very first activists at the beginning of the ecological fight. This film is a portrait of the woman who first defended the architectural heritage of her country and also nature and animal life.
Then, during the 70s, she fought with success against the pollution of industry and especially against nuclear power station. She became Member of the European Parliament during the 90s and continued her fight against weapons, nuclear or not. In this film, shot in her countryside, a few months before her death, she tells us her choices, her enthusiasm for ecology, and we discover her own archive film material shot with a super 8 camera during these successful fights of the 70s.
